1:00pm: Session 3: Taking the diagnostic (10 mins online profile highlighting entrepreneurial strengths and growth opportunities)
1:30pm: Session 4: Creating Success through Entrepreneurial Behaviours - Part 1 (psychology, reflection, techniques & activities exploring tolerance to risk and resilience)
2:50pm: Session 5: Creating success through Entrepreneurial Behaviours - Part 2 (psychology, case study & tools to enhance opportunity recognition and creative thinking)
4:00pm: Finish: Identification of key takeaways for action plan. Access to playbook, online learning, and facilitator kit.
About Your TrainersSallie Allen CIPD:
Board Level HR professional and Co-founder of Enploy Combining technology and training for entrepreneurial mindset, Enploy is an Innovation Top 50 business in the Midlands. Sallie has 15 years’ experience across business management, leadership and HR. She loves working with groups and over the past few years has delivered training programmes and workshops to recent graduates, business leaders and entrepreneurs. Sallie believes that the age of powerpoint is over for training and attendees deserve a combination of trainers, technology, knowledge and interactive activities to have impact.
15+ years of experience developing individuals and training groups in both the US and UK. Currently running her own business alongside training, she is applying entrepreneurial mindset on a daily basis. Danielle originally trained as a social worker encouraging others to build their self-awareness, manage emotions and develop a growth mindset. Elizabeth is internationally renowned and has been extensively published on topics including entrepreneurship, innovation and entrepreneurial personality. Her research was instrumental in creating our Entrepreneurial Mindset and Behaviours diagnostic.
Prof Richard Crisp PhD, FBPsS: Head of Psychology at Durham University, Behavioural Scientist and author of The Social Brain. Richard translates his behavioural insights into tips and techniques that we use to help people develop themselves as leaders.
VenuesOur head office and Midlands training days are held at Innovation Birmingham (pictured) - the leading location for Birmingham’s tech and start-up community. London masterclasses are held at The IoD 116 Pall Mall. This is an iconic landmark of London’s Georgian heritage located minutes from Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus. This magnificently restored Grade 1-listed building is one of the most popular business venues in the capital, with thousands of IoD members visiting the premises weekly to work, meet and network.

FAQsAre there any prerequisites before attending the course?
We provide everything needed on the day so you do not need to pre-read or bring anything with you on the day.
What’s the cancellation policy?
Cancellation is possible up to 30 days before the start of a course without cost. After that point the full course fee is due independent of whether the registered person takes part in the course or not. Participants can be substituted without charge.

Birmingham Events: There is secured, paid parking onsite and paid parking across the street from Innovation Birmingham.
London IoD Events:Piccadilly Circus, Charing Cross and Leicester Square tube stops are all within a 4-6 minute walk away.
